We take
our response times seriously. Since we have our own monitoring
center we measure
response times daily. Most Emergency Alarm companies
are
satisfied with response times of less than a minute. When people's lives
are on the
line every second counts.
Example: In
November of 2007 we got a call from a woman who pressed her
pendant
because her grandson wasn't breathing. We answered the call in less
than
5 seconds and got her connected to EMS immediately. Her grandson
survived,
but, what would have happened if we waited another 30, 45, or even 60
seconds
to respond to this alarm???
ASK OUR COMPETITION ABOUT THEIR RESPONSE TIMES!!!!
*"Response Time", as defined in the
industry, is calculated as the time from
the signal hitting the monitoring center
systems to when
the call is
picked
up by an operator. All other delays are determined by
local phone carriers
(typically 15 - 30 seconds for large phone systems).
